Short Bio
Tomoya Duenki a project researcher with a strong background in neurotechnology and biomedical engineering. His work focuses on creating more physiologically relevant in vitro models and developing advanced tools to study them, with the goal of improving research using neural organoids and deepening our understanding of human brain function. By integrating electrophysiology, optogenetics and microfluidic engineering he develops precise experimental platforms for probing and manipulating neural activity. These systems provide powerful new approaches for investigating brain function and open up opportunities in disease modeling, drug discovery, and to study mechanism of the brain.
